The store is the largest part of the Supermarket. It’s divided into a large number of smaller, thematic parts. The central part, at the very entrance of the store, is devoted to designer household items and various cute gagets. Our choice of books, CDs and DVDs is always appealing to visitors.The “Fashion Lounge” is a promotional platform for distinguished local fashion designers who are making clothes in small production lines and selling it exclusively in Supermarket. The Supermarket restaurant has 80 seats. The kitchen is runned by gastronomy star Sem Veldheer, who has created a menu with a variety of international influences. Every Sunday we offer our guests a special brunch menu with live jazz music. The restaurant, as well as the rest of the store, can be booked for various events.

The longest bar in Belgrade that sprawls almost the whole length of the store is furnished with comfortable chairs that are situated on raised mobile platforms. Our bartenders are mixing more then 25 different cocktails, fruitshakes and also are willing to do special requests. You can order good wines by the glass.

Part of the Supermarket occupies a Super spa center. Spa includes a Turkish bath, sauna and three separate rooms for massages and treatments, as well as part for pedicure and manicure. In cooperation with the cosmetic company Auriege, we created special professional treatments that simultaneously treat the type, condition and age of the skin. Professional staff is trained to determine the type of your skin and recommend a professional treatment and related home care in accordance with your needs.

Part of the Supermarket concept store represents an Art corner of 100m2, where cultural events are held such as exibitions of paintings, prints or photographs, film screenings, fashion shows, concerts and book promotions. So far, our gallery space represented a number of famous artists like Slavimir Stojanovic, Biljana Cincarevic, Nebojsa Babic, Milos Nadazdin and many others, but also young artists whose promotion and recognition we are allways ready to support.

About us

Supermarket concept store was opened in November 2008. Conceived as a place that combines fashion, design, music, publishing, art and gastronomy. Supermarket concept store includes restaurant, bar, store, beauty lounge, spa, bookshop, hairdressing salon and d.o. flowers florist. Also contained within is a gallery that is used for various exhibitions, concerts and performances. During the long Belgrade summer, Supermarket has a new terrace whit more then 100 seats.

Also contained within is a gallery that is used for various exhibitions, concerts and performances. During the long Belgrade summer, Supermarket has a new terrace whit more then 100 seats.

Supermarket concept store was conceived and designed reMIks studio lead by Maja Vidaković. “The Golden Years of Communism” in former Yugoslavia that coincide with the brutalist period in architecture were the source aesthetic inspiration for the reMlks creative team. A space formerly occupied by a discount supermarket was changed, by reMlks, into a dynamic, multifunctional space that’s constantly changing.

The in interior of Supermarket is purposely rough and apparently unfinished; as such it represents the perfect, ascetic, stage for consumer fetishes and the different hedonistic activities that go on inside the Supermarket. Obviously visible installations, the cracked concrete floor, a toilet door removed from a cargo elevator, sales booths made out of recycled wood are all elements contribute to the impression that the space has been living a long and intense life.
